"The Bluetit mission is to create a confident, capable community through cold water swimming and adventures."

If you have been down to a beach recently, you may have noticed ever growing groups of women laughing and joking themselves into the icy waters in only their swimming costumes!

These are the epic and brilliantly named 'Bluetit Chill Swimmers', a community started by Sian Richardson in 2014 who thought she would challenge herself to all year round swimming in Pembrokeshire.

"I squealed and whooped quite loud it would seem. Others heard me and came along to join me, and that is how The Bluetits began!" says Sian.

Now there are over 4,000 Chill Swimmers worldwide, and 2,400 in Britain alone!  They meet for friendship, support, coffee and cake...and of course to get nearly naked and swim!  To find your local group, check here!

So what is it about chill swimming that is such a hit?

Speaking as someone who is facing  the hardest year of her life so far, I can tell you!
There is something deeply empowering about overcoming the fear of the extreme, and stepping out of the comfort zone.  When your life becomes deeply challenging, you no longer know who you are as the layers of your previous identity fall away as untrue.  This unknown state of being leads to the deepest vulnerability and uncertainty, which ironically leaves you fearless and raw.  There is no longer anything to lose, you have shed your old layers of meaning and emerged as simple truth.  Nothing is certain except change, and you are the creator of your own destiny.

Write your own story, own your own life, act like you chose it!

The link between cold water swimming and mental health is well documented, so this new Collection inspired by 'The Bluetit Chill Swimmers' not only highlights the team colours with a choice of the emblem as a charm, but
DONATES £1 FROM EVERY PURCHASE TO
