Super Blue Blood Moon

We should all stop and admire our surroundings more! I am just as guilty as this as you are with my eyes always fixed on a screen, laptop, television, phone screen....constantly scrolling and browsing. Well this month I'm setting you and I a challenge. Lets all look up more!

Notice the birds in the sky, maybe you will spot a rainbow? Smile at a stranger instead of virtually connecting with someone. Draw back the curtains and look out the window to check the weather, don't use your weather app! lets all make a conscious effort to appreciate the world around us. Maybe you will see something different?

A rare event is happening at the end of this month, on the 31st January we are set to see a Super Moon light up the sky. A blue moon and a lunar eclipse will combine with the moon being at its closest point to earth resulting in what they are calling a 'Super Blue Blood Moon'. The last time these 3 elements combined was 1866!

If that's not a good enough reason to look up I don't know what is, set your alarm for early in the morning and try and catch a glimpse of this spectacular moon.
