It's a Spring Time Thing….

As Winter drifts away, Spring has arrived…The sun is finally shining in sunny Cornwall!

Although the thought of a Spring clean is ever daunting and the thought of a Easter egg splurge makes me feel slightly nauseous, the clocks have gone back meaning the drive to and from work is lighter. I can't wait to get out and about, dust off the BBQ and enjoy some sun!

As I write this I am overlooking the bay, lying beneath the clear blue sky, overlooking the sea. I feel we are all ready for the change in season. I’m dreaming of alfresco dining, summer holidays, lazy beach days, can I smell sun cream.......?

Spring is a time of new beginnings, baby animals fill the surrounding fields with lambs arriving...Daffodils are poking up out of the ground, their yellow heads peeking up from below, violets litter the cliff top in all there purple glory, breaking through the plush evergreen.

What colours will I be wearing to embrace the season ahead….?

Let's go with Nature's brights….Gold, Emerald Green, Purple, Electric blue, all the colours that represent the shades inspired by the change in nature around us…I am currently rocking my summer dress (still with a few layers underneath) feeling the warmth on my toes in my flip flops and even flashing an anklet!

Spring and "Springtime" refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth. Grow towards the light everybody!
